June Favourites! Beauty, fashion, music and more!

Hello loves!

So as it's coming to the end of June, I figured it was time for my June favourites! I have a decent amount this month so lets get started...

Beauty

My first beauty favourite is my Maybeline 24hr Colour Tattoo in Pink Gold, I have been using this as an everyday eye shadow with a bit of brown eye shadow to line my eyes. It gives a really pretty, girly look and its really nice for spring/summer. I think this was about £5 from Boots.

Next in beauty is my Eyeko Skinny liquid eyeliner in Navy. I actually got this free in Glamour and I was very happy because the eyeliner is usually £12. It adds something different and slightly edgy to your look and looks really sophisticated. I'm going to be doing a whole post on this soon so watch out for that!

Now I have my Collection Pressed Powder in Ivory, I wont talk too much about this because again, I'm going to do a separate post about it. But I just really love this powder and it was only £1.99!

Lastly, I have my mini Batiste dry shampoo in the Blush scent. I keep this in my school bag for those little emergencies and I love it! Its so handy and works really well, it also smells amazing so that's a bonus! It was really inexpensive and its great for travelling and touch-ups on the go.

I couldn't find this online but I'm sure they'll have it in Boots or Superdrug or even Sainsburys or Asda.

Skincare

I only have one skincare favourite this month and that is the Clean & Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash. I have used this for a while now and I thought it was time to give it some hype. I never get blackheads and I think that's down to using this and the blackhead clearing cleanser nearly every day. I use this in the shower and its just a quick fix for breakouts and blackheads.

Bath and shower

My first product is a bath product and its the Comforter bubble bar from Lush. I bought this about a month ago and its still going strong, a little bit goes a long way with this bubble bar! It smells exactly like jelly babies, makes loads of fluffy bubbles and turns your bath pink, I love it!

Fashion

I have two fashion favourites this month, one is this top that I got from Urban Outfitters in the sale. Its so summery and perfect for festivals! I absolutely love it!

Unfortunately I couldn't find this online but its worth taking a look in your local Urban Outfitters!

My next fashion favourite is my white High-top Converse, I have been wearing these all the time lately and I really do love them. They're so easy to throw on and look great with so much stuff!

My first random favourite is my Body Shop hand gel in the Pink Grapefruit scent. I love this and the smell and its leaves your hands feeling really fresh and clean.

My human favourite this month is Ugly Face Of Beauty (Gracie Francesca), she is just such an inspiration to me and I love to watch her videos and read her blog posts, she's so amazing!

Rimmel Stay Matte powder - review and rant

Today I wanted to review my Rimmel Stay Matte powder, but I'm not in a particularly good mood so I'm also going to be ranting about it! I have purchased this powder twice now and I have decided to NEVER buy it EVER again. I don't even know why I bought it the second time because I already knew what it was like. So, when you first start using the powder its really good and it keeps your face matte for about 4-5 hours, but as soon as you hit pan (even if its just a little bit) everything goes downhill. All the powder that is left just crumbles into a mess and falls right out of the pot. Its really hard to apply once its crumbled and you get huge lumps of powder everywhere. I get through this very quickly as well because I hit pan after about 2-3 weeks and then I have to buy a new one almost straight away. I'm really disappointed about this because its is a good powder before you hit pan and its not expensive. Overall I would give this product just 2 stars.

We ♥ It!

I have been really enjoying the website, We like ♥ It! Its very similar to Pinterest but I just feel like I like it more. Its all about images, photography and things that. You can basically make different collections of pictures and they are shown on your profile. You can also heart images, which is like pressing the 'like' button, without adding them to any of your collections. Its really good for people who like photography like me and I also like things to look good and I like finding pretty and artsy photos of people, things and places (there are some good quotes and edits thrown in there too!).

For me, this is the perfect summer outfit, especially because I live in England and its never really boiling here. I love how cute the sweatshirt is and the disco pants! The phone case is also really me and super cute! I think the converse are great because the go with everything and they're just really comfy and casual. then the sunglasses add a bit of girliness to the look.

Look 4 - Gypsy Sunset

This is probably one of my favourite looks because I absolutely adore the dress, I tried it on in Topshop and its like heaven! The bag is also amazing and I love the shoes. the earrings tie in nicely with the roses on the dress and the ring matches the gold on the bag.

Look 5 - PVC and pearls

I think this is probably my favourite look! I'm really into PVC skirts and I love the colour of this one, the shoes match it really well and are absolutely gorgeous! The bag ties in with the top and I think the earrings just look really pretty and girly with the rest of the look.

Look 6 - Royal Summer

This outfit would be perfect for summer evenings as its comfy but stylish and really pretty too. The gold looks really nice with the cobalt dress and it all goes really well with all the other pieces. The earrings work with the necklace as they are both gold and are similar styles.

Self esteem and confidence!

So this is my second more serious, chatty post that I have done and I love writing them so please comment and like if you want to see more!

Disclaimer: I am definitely not an expert in this topic, I have not had issues with this type of stuff so I'm not saying that everyone should follow my advice. I just have a lot to say about this and I wanted to share it with you. If you don't agree with my opinions then okay. Everyone has different opinions.

Today I'm going to be writing about self-esteem and confidence. Now, this has never really been an issue for me (in fact sometimes I think I love myself too much!) but I know it is an issue for a lot of other people. I also have a lot of thoughts on this subject so I wanted to do a post about it.

I think being confident in yourself is really important in life and if you want to do something then its important that you believe in yourself. Don't worry about what other people will say because we are all amazing and people who put other people down are often just jealous or idiots with nothing better to do! Somebody loves you so ignore the haters and have self-confidence. A lot of people struggle with body-confidence as well and this just needs to stop. Everyone is beautiful and people just put themselves down because society has told them to. Everyone is different and just because you have slightly bigger thighs than another girl or smaller boobs doesn't make you ugly. It makes you yourself.

I think its really bad when people don't do things because they are scared of being judged. Like if you want to wear something that's slightly out of your comfort zone then go for it! If you feel happy then don't think about what other people are going to think. And don't judge others. Stand up to people and don't let them get to you.

I think I'm quite lucky because I've always been quite confident and I'm not scared to make a fool of myself. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter! Just live life to the full and don't let being shy hold you back, laugh it off and keep going. If something really embarrassing happens to you, don't fret about it, just laugh and others will take it a lot less seriously. Don't be afraid to have a good time with your friends, who cares what everyone else thinks? As long as you are happy and enjoying life then that's all that matters. But obviously don't forget to think about others before doing things, make sure that whatever you do, its not just you that gets benefit when its making others unhappy.

A lot of girls think that a guy will like you more if you're dumb, that's not the case. Jerks will like you more if you're dumb, but good guys will like you for who you really are. If they tell you to change in any way, then they don't deserve you. Never change yourself purely for someone else, when you are happy with how you are.

Now, I'm not saying that I've never done anything bad in life, I've done plenty of things that I'm not proud of but if someone puts you down, don't sink to their level. Shake it off and move on!

Don't Worry Be Happy!

Today I decided to do a more chatty post and I have seen lots of people doing this kind of post lately and I just wanted to do it as well! I also think that things like this are good to do nearer the summer time because people want to be more body confident and all that! I'm going to do a whole post on confidence and self-esteem on Saturday as well so look out for that!

So I think happiness is probably the most important thing in life, I really don't think you should do anything that doesn't make you happy and isn't giving you any benefit. I think we should all make the most of life and make our dreams come true! But you wont get anywhere if you just sit around waiting for it to happen. You need to go for it and show the world what you're made of. Don't waste time on things you don't want to do when you could be doing better things. Don't waste your time worrying either, let it go, let it go! (#frozen!) Try not to stress about things that have happened, just look forward to the future, the past is in the past!!! (#frozen again!)

I also think that having supportive friends is incredibly important in life. I feel very lucky to have the friends that I have and they are absolutely AMAZAYN but unfortunately some people aren't as lucky and even if you don't have a lot of friends you should be grateful for what you have.Count your blessings and don't take people for granted! 

Another think I think is that we should do what we love. If you have a dream then you should pursue it, people will always make things difficult in life and you just need to learn to ignores the haters! Don't let them stop you from doing what makes you happy. Surround yourself with the most important things and people in life and they will thank you for it. But don't pressure yourself to be happy all the time, its okay to not be okay sometimes. Sometimes you will just need to let it all out and cry. But just know that it will be get better and you never know what the future will hold. Tomorrow will be brighter.

Haul! Lush, New Look, House Of Fraser and Primark

The other day I went shopping for summer clothes and I picked up a few things so I wanted to share them with you in a haul!

So from Lush I picked up the Comforter bubble bar and I'm so excited to use this! I smell just like jelly babies and apparently you can get 8-10 baths from it so that sounds amazing! It was only £4.50 which I think is quite cheap for the number of uses that you get.

Then I went to House Of Fraser and I bought a pair of shorts. They are from Warehouse and cost £26.00 but they had 20% of everything so I got 20% off. They are black with a white floral print and they're really comfortable. They also look like a skirt but you don't have the hassle of a skirt blowing up and stuff. I got them in a size 10.

Next I went to Primark and I picked up a few things, the first thing was that muscle tee. Its baby blue and has a pink ice cream on it and the back is plain white. I think its so cute and summery and it was only £5.00. I got it in a size 10.

Then I got another muscle tee from the Disney section in Primark and this one is Nemo! Well it doesn't have Nemo on it but oh well! It has Dory and Marlin??? I think that's how you spell his name, correct me if I'm wrong. So this one was£6.00 and I love it! I got it in a size 10.

 Then I got some socks, the first pair are pink with cream lace and they were £1.50

 The next pair are coral with cream lace and they were £1.50.

 The next pair are kid of an oatmeal/beige colour with black lace and they were £1.50


















The last pair are black with a kind of black crotchet frill on the top and they were also £1.50.

Then I went to New Look and the first thing that I got was this kimono, its white with coral and yellow flowers and white tassels. I got it from AX Paris in the label lounge in New Look and it was £20.00. I got it in a size small/medium








Then I got these shorts which are red with white flowers on. I think they're really pretty and perfect for summer and they were £14.99.  I got them in a size 10.

 I got this mint and white top with really cute little bows on the back, it was £12.99 and I got it in a size 10.

The last thing i picked up was two shoestring vests. I just got one black and one white and they're really handy as just a basic that will go with a lot. They were both £2.99 and I got them in a medium.
