Mini haul - Bonus post!

So today I bought a few things that I wanted to share with you and I decided to make a bonus mini post for them! I went to, Superdrug, Boots and a local craft shop.

So first I bought a pale pink hair ribbon from a local crafty shop and I plan on wearing it for the Mean Girls 10th anniversary and "On Wednesdays we wear pink". Then I bought 3 face masks from Superdrug, I bought the cucumber cooling clay mask and two of the yogurt smoothie masks and they were on a 3 for 2 offer. I also picked up a Superdrug beauty card. In Boots I bought the Batiste floral and fruity blush dry shampoo, in the travel size. That's everything, sorry I actually couldn't find any of the stuff online but I'm sure they're in shops.

The Body Shop Body Butters

So I have 3 of The Body Shop's body butters and I'm in love with all of them! They are literally so moisturizing and they all smell incredible. Their scents linger for hours and I would say the only bad thing is that they don't dry very quickly so they're better for using when you're relaxing and you have time and they're also quite pricey. Take a look!!

1. Shea Butter

This body butter is perfect for autumn/winter evenings when you just want to relax because of its calming scent. It has hints of oatmeal and cocoa butter too.

http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/shop-by-range/shea/shea-body-butter.aspx

2. Pink Grapefruit

Pink Grapefruit is definitely one of my all time favorite scents from The Body Shop because its so fresh and fruity. Its great for summer evenings or after showers.

http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/shop-by-range/pink-grapefruit/pink-grapefruit-body-butter.aspx

3. Vineyard Peach

So the Vineyard Peach is another fresh and fruity scent and I think it smells exactly like peach ice tea! (which I love!) its great for after showers and the scent lingers for hours.

Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer review

Recently I bought a new concealer so I thought I would review my old one before I stop using it. So I used the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer and I really liked it. The problem with mine is that it was slightly too dark so it looked a bit orange on my skin. I got the shade true ivory so if you have paler skin you might want to get one of the lighter shades. As an under-eye concealer it works really well and erases dark circles but its not that great at covering blemishes. It seems to disappear from blemishes half way through the day so you have to top it up. Overall I would give this product 4 stars.

H&M Signature Kabuki Brush

I have a Kabuki brush from H&M and I really love it. Its so soft on the skin and its big so you don't have to spend ages on your powder, you can just do a few swipes and it covers your face. I know H&M isn't the best shop to buy make-up brushes but I had  gift card with not very much money left on it so i just decided to get it. I'm pretty sure its called the Signature Kabuki brush but I couldn't find the exact one online. But they have the mini version and the regular Kabuki and I'm sure they'll have this one in the shops.

Lush Sakura Lush bath bomb review

Last night I used the Sakura bath bomb from Lush and it was really nice. It smells really fresh and floral with hints of cherry blossom. But the bad thing about this bath bomb is that it only has a very pale color so it doesn't really change the color of the water and it doesn't have glitter or anything like that, its more about the smell. But it is a really nice bath bomb so I would recommend it. Overall I would give this 3 stars.

Maybeline Great Lash Very Black mascara review

The Maybeline Great Lash mascara is so great! It give your lashes great volume and a jet black color. Paired with a good lengthening mascara it gives your lashes the perfect volumised and lengthened look. If you're looking for a good drugstore mascara then I would definitely  recommend this one. The Great Lash line has a couple of other mascaras including a waterproof version of the very black but this is the only one I have tried, I'm definitely going to try the others soon.

http://www.boots.com/en/Maybelline-Great-Lash-Mascara-Very-Black-Waterproof_1416712/ - I could only find the waterproof version online but I'm sure they have the normal one in most drugstores and supermarkets.

Lush Mint Julips lip scrub review

So I have the Mint Julips lip scrub from Lush and I really love it! It smells and tastes amazing as well as easily taking dry skin off your lips. It also comes in a handy little pot so its easy to travel with and use out and about. I must say it is slightly over-priced but its worth it. I actually have 2 of them and that actually has been useful because I can keep one on my vanity and one in my bag. Overall I would give this product 4 stars.

My Primark Bag

Last week I bought an amazing bag from Primark for just £10! I loved it so much that when I first saw it, I needed it. For me its the perfect everyday  bag, its big enough to hold everything I need, but not so big that its in the way. It has a detachable longer strap and 2 smaller handles. Inside it has one zipped up pocket and one non-zipped pocket. Primark has a really nice selection of bags and they might not be the best quality but they are good for the price.

Maybeline Color Tattoo 24hr Cream eye-shadow review

So I bought the Maybeline Color tattoo cream shadow in Pink Gold. I love it so much! especially for the spring time! I find it looks really pretty as a base with a brown shimmery shadow along my crease and blended out into my outer corner. Its a really great champagne pink color with gold shimmer. It also lasts really well and doesn't smudge, it also doesn't make a line in your crease which is really good. Overall I would give this 4 stars!

Barry M Matte Nail Paints

Last autumn/winter I was really into matte nails and Barry M had a really nice collection of them, so I Kind of bought 4... And today I'm doing a blog post about them! They served me very well through the autumn/winter so I thought I should give them some credit.

http://www.boots.com/en/Barry-M-Matte-Nail-Paint_1388205/

1. Crush

This color is perfect for autumn/winter and is so pretty! Its an ox-blood red and it looks even cooler when its on the nails. Because its matte it just brings something different to your outfit and gives it a slight edge.

2. Vanilla

I think this one is slightly more girly because of the lavender undertones and lighter color. I really like how it looks on the nails and it brings a bit of brightness to your autumn/winter look whilst still being neutral.

3. Espresso

Now, obviously this is a black nail polish and that might not appeal to everyone but in the autumn I think a nice black nail polish is almost essential. Plus, this is matte so that takes the edge off a bit and makes it a bit more subtle.

4. Caramel

This color is so unusual and hard to explain but its really pretty. Its like a tan/toffee color and just looks really neutral and subtle on the nails, especially in autumn.

So that's it! Overall I would give this collection 4 stars because I absolutely love them!

Seventeen Make Your Mark eyeliner review

The other day I bought the Seventeen Make Your Mark eyeliner and used it for the first time today and I love it! I love how the nib is thick and then it gets thinned so you can easily determine how thick your eyeliner is. The nib is also quite stiff so you can get a good straight line. It lasts well and doesn't smudge easily and for such an inexpensive price, its amazing! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good drugstore eyeliner.

My fave spring nail polishes!

So its started to get slightly warmer over in England and spring has most definitely sprung so I thought I would show you my favorite nail polishes for this time of year. I have 6 to share with you, so lets get started!

1. Topshop  -  Spilled Milk

So this is just a bright white polish but I think its perfect for spring and summer. It goes with everything and it makes your hands look tanned! But the only bad thing about this polish is that it takes 2-3 coats to reach the actual colour.

http://www.johnlewis.com/topshop-nails-spilled-milk/p231895058

2. Barry M - Strawberry Ice Cream

I have recently decided that this is not just my favorite spring nail polish but my favorite nail polish ever! Its the most amazing bubblegum pink and i absolutely love it! Again it takes 2-3 coats but its well worth it.

http://www.superdrug.com/barry-m-cosmetics/barry-m-nail-paint-strawberry-ice-cream-309/invt/205272

3. Barry M - Lilac Foil - Discontinued?*

This is a metallic lilac polish and I think its great for the spring time. Because its metallic its something slightly different and adds a bit of edge to your look. You could just do 1 coat of this and it would look fine but I would recommend doing 2 for maximum colour.

*I couldn't find this exact polish anywhere online. Barry M do 2 foils though (silver and gold) and I'm sure there is a dupe for this one somewhere.

4. Barry M - Mint Green

This polish is an amazing mint green colour which is great for the spring. It goes with pastel colours and just looks really nice on the nails. You would have to use 2-4 coats of this though, to reach the true colour.

http://www.superdrug.com/barry-m-cosmetics/barry-m-nail-paint-mint-green/invt/561621

5. Barry M Nail Gelly - Papaya

This polish is a really nice peachy orange that will add a pop of colour for spring. Its a 'Gelly' nail polish as well so it lasts well and gives the shiny effect of gel nails. You only need 1-2 coats of this for it to look fab!

http://www.superdrug.com/barry-m-cosmetics/barry-m-gelly-nail-paint-papaya/invt/612359&bklist=

6. Revlon  - Waterfall  -  Not available?*

This is an amazing baby blue polish with a hint of shimmer. Its great for spring time for those chillier days. 1-2 coats is all you need.

*Couldn't find this online, I bought it in a set and not sure where from, sorry! But I did manage to find a dupe, Barry M Pale Blue, it doesn't have the shimmer but the colour is very similar and its still really pretty.

http://www.superdrug.com/barry-m-cosmetics/barry-m-nail-paint-pale-blue-317/invt/262050&bklist=

So that's all of my favorite spring nail polishes, I hope you found this interesting or useful or just enjoyed reading it!

Collection Lasting Perfection concealer review

So I bought the Collection lasting Perfection concealer in the shade cool medium number 2 and I used it for the first time today. I had heard loads of people raving about it and so far it had lived up to the hype. It has a really nice even coverage, blends really well and doesn't look cakey. Overall this concealer has worked great for me so far and I hope it continues to work wonders in the future!

Batiste Dry Shampoo (Wild) Review

Yesterday I bought the Batiste dry shampoo in the Wild scent and used it this morning. So far it has worked really well, it gives you hair a lot of volume and refreshes it if it needs washing. It also gives your hair a really nice scent. It does go on white onto your hair but as long as you rub it in thoroughly its fine. I would say overall this is a great product and I will definitely re-purchase Batiste's products.

Blog haul - Superdrug, Boots and Starbucks

Today I went into town with a few friends and I decided to tell you what I picked up! I didn't get that much stuff but I'm going to show you anyway.

So I went to Boots and picked up the Batiste dry shampoo in the Wild scent (the leopard print bottle) and it smells amazing! I bought it because I was running out of the Cherry one that I had before and I wanted to try a new scent. Some people say that they don't like Batiste because it goes on white but I really don't mind that, its not hard to blend in and for me its worth it because i think it really helps. Also from Boots I picked up the Seventeen Make Your Mark felt tip eyeliner and I'm so excited to try it! I really like the thick nib and I've tried it on my hand and it went on really nicely and was really black.

Then I went to Superdrug and I got the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in the shade cool medium 2. I have heard so many people raving about this concealer and have been wanting to try it out for a long time so I'm really excited to use it!

Last but not least I went into Starbucks, I actually didn't buy a drink but I bought one of their reusable cups (https://twitter.com/little_miss_E_/status/454277992022564864/photo/1).
It was only £1.00 and I'm so excited to use it on the go with hot and cold drinks!

Pretty Little Liars

So I wanted to do a blog post about this because I have been utterly obsessed with this show for weeks now. I started watching it around the start of February and I'm on season 3 episode 8. I'm not trying to rush because want to enjoy it as much as possible but I can't wait to catch up. If you haven't seen it, its basically an american drama, some bits are quite sinister and you have to concentrate on the plot in order to understand whats going on. But its a really great show and I would recommend it to all teens looking for a new TV show to watch. the episode are all around 43 minutes so its great to just relax and watch a couple at a time.

Divergent - Movie review

So the other day I went to go and see 'Divergent', at first I was a bit unsure as its not the type of film I would usually go for but I actually thought it was really good. Most of its reviews seem to say it was crap but I would disagree. In some ways it is similar to 'The Hunger Games' and I think if you liked that movie you will like 'Divergent' but even if you don't you still might like it. It was quite long, which was a shame, and some bits were slightly boring but overall I thought it was good. I haven't read the book and maybe if I had I would think differently but reading isn't really my thing so I probably wont get round to reading it!
